Which magnets can I use to hang up swings and hammocks?
None! Our magnets are not suitable to hang up swings, hammocks, kids beds, etc.!
When you attach a heavy, moving object to a steel beam or similar structure, there is an increased risk that the hook could be dislodged and fall off whilst swinging.
This can lead to serious injuries, either from the fall itself or if the magnet strikes a person.
Animals and objects may also suffer from a fall.
And you can never rule out material fatigue – the magnet in a magnetic hook
could detach from its steel pot and cause injuries (see relevant safety tip).
Consequently, magnets are entirely unsuitable for any such application and we strongly recommend a sturdy hanging solution with screws, ropes, etc.
